What personal information Model Atlas Studio collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Work we do for clients is covered by the contract we sign with them.

Who we are

Model Atlas Studio is a launch agency for AI models and tools, run by Karan Kendre (“we”, “us”). We decide how the personal information described here is used, which makes us its controller under data protection law.

For anything in this policy, email [email protected].

What we collect

We collect what you choose to give us, plus the technical basics any website needs.

  • Briefs. When you send a brief: your name, work email, company, website, what you’re launching, when, your budget range and anything else you write.
  • Calls. When you book a call through Cal.com: your name, email, the time you pick and any notes you add.
  • Applications. When you apply as a developer or creator: your name, email, X or LinkedIn profile, GitHub or portfolio link, follower range, a sample of your work and what you tell us about yourself.
  • Emails. When you email us: your email address and whatever you send.
  • Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request so it can deliver the site, limit how often our forms can be sent and protect the site from abuse. We don’t store your IP address with your application.
  • Page views. Each page you open adds one to a daily count for that page, together with the website you came from (when your browser shares it) and the country Cloudflare places your connection in. We don’t use cookies or store your IP address for this, so the counts can’t be linked to you.

We don’t ask for sensitive information such as health or financial details, so please don’t send it.

Cookies and embedded videos

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The site keeps one value in your browser’s session storage so the headline animation plays only once per visit. It is deleted when you close the tab. If you use the light and dark switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage until you clear the site’s data.

The example builds on the home page play from their original posts on X. As they come into view, your browser fetches the video previews from X’s servers, and the videos themselves when they play, so X receives your IP address and browser details under X’s privacy policy. We tell your browser not to send X the address of the page you’re on.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • reply to your brief or email and put together a proposal,
  • schedule and hold calls,
  • review applications from developers and creators and, if we work together, brief and pay you,
  • run, secure and fix the website,
  • see which pages people read and where they came from,
  • keep the records the law requires.

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on steps you ask us to take before a contract for briefs, calls and applications; our legitimate interests in replying to people who contact us and in running and securing the site; and legal obligation for records we must keep.

We don’t sell your personal information, use it for targeted advertising or make automated decisions about you. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the services that help us run the business, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website and stores the applications and briefs sent through it, and the page-view counts, in our own database,
  • Cal.com, which handles call bookings,
  • Google Workspace, which runs our email.

Details of an unannounced launch stay with our team. We share them with the developers and creators who would work on it only once you agree, and only under NDA.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to a buyer if the business is ever sold, who would have to keep to this policy.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. When data leaves the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards the law recognises, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

  • Briefs, emails and call notes that don’t lead to work: up to 24 months after we last spoke.
  • Client and contractor records: for as long as the contract runs, then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Developer and creator applications: up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Server logs: for the short period Cloudflare keeps them.
  • Page-view counts: kept as totals, which hold no personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy,
  • correct it,
  • delete it,
  • limit or stop how we use it, including objecting to uses based on our legitimate interests,
  • send it to you or another company in a portable format.

Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month. We may need to confirm it’s you first. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to a data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK or the authority where you live in the EU.

If you live in California, you also have the right to know about, delete and correct your personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don’t sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and you must be 18 or over to apply as a developer or creator.

Security

We use established providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think something has gone wrong, tell us straight away.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change significantly affects people we’re already in touch with, we’ll tell them directly.
